We are happy to announce Pasifika Sway's affiliation with Kumu Blaine Kamalani Kia's foundation Kalaua'e Foundation and our Hula classes are under his direction and guidance.  

We are the Foundation's 15th organisation globally and its New Zealand representative.  Our Hula classes are under his Hula Halau name (above) and embrace the piko (centre) of Hula and its culture

Hawaiian Hula Classes Teaching Ancient and Modern Hula 

HALAU CLASSES

Cost:   

Keiki (children):     $85 per term per child.

                                  $70 per term (per child for family of 2 or more)

Lehulehu (adults):  $15 per class

                                  $120 for 10 classes

Time:                         Keiki:        5.30pm - 6.30pm    

                                     Lehulehu:  6.40pm - 8.00pm

Tuesday evenings

Term 1:  8 Feb - 4 Apr        Term 2:  25 Apr - 27 June

Term 3:  18 Jul - 26 Sept    Term 4:  17 Oct - 19 December

Private Lessons

Do you have a wedding, birthday or another function that you have to dance at? Do you want to learn a hula or a siva for that function? Or do you simply want to learn the beautiful island dancing for your own simple pleasure. Give us a call and and arrange a time with us to take private lessons.

 

Schools and Institutions

Pasifika Sway has been called to work in numerous institutions from Intermediate to tertiary institutions as part of the Physical Education curriculum or as part of Dance and Culture department.  Email for more information on rates and availability to teach at your school or centre.
